and continues to be the diligent and intelligent delivery of creative
client solutions with integrity. FWAS strives to always exceed our client's
aspirations while developing aesthetically distinctive, surprisingly affordable and
contextually responsive solutions.
FWAS (formerly known as Alexander/Camabeam & Associates)
was 1st established in Chicago, IL in 1980. The firm was moved to Greater Cincinnati
area in 1982. For more than 25 years now, FWAS has conducted a diverse and successful professional
practice. Key staff represent nearly 100 aggregate years of planning, design, and
construction experience.
FWAS has built and earned a solid reputation
among client's, architects, and colleagues, etc. for
listening, caring, integrity, quality and never saying "Can't". Some of our greatest
success has come from difficult and challenging projects.
FWAS aims to maintain a multi-
cultural group of professionals. This diversity heightens and aids in our
creative approach to planning and design solutions. These approaches are further enhanced
by the use of the design studio format where a principal-in-charge flows
with a project from: initial client contact - through completion of
construction. This method offers a single source and clear line for
communications, continuity, and a responsible commitment that each project is
individually important.
FWAS office is historically
equipped with the latest computer hardware and software programs. Auto CAD 2005
is the primary CAD program, advanced 2d and 3d rendering (Sketch-Up) and multi-media (Photoshop)
software, etc. provide us with creative and multi-dimensional tools to enhance any
design solution.
FWAS has built a long list
of satisfied clients and repeat work
encompassing a myriad of project types,
sizes, and complexities. Projects such as: special programmed University buildings, Chemical
waste storage facilities, earthquake resistant Neutron laboratory, K-12 school built in a floodplain, multi-family
housing projects, vehicle storage and maintenance buildings, Churches, comprehensive facilities renovations, and more.
